Learn to play Texas Hold 'Em

This is the form of the game that you see on television all the time, that is played by the professionals at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas each year, and that is now the most popular form of the game worldwide.
There are hundreds of books on starting your game, but none have caused such a stir as Paul Mendelson's simple to understand text - "Texas Hold 'Em - Begin and Win" which has become the best-selling poker book in the UK since its publication at the end of 2005. You can buy here online or join Paul and his team for one of his poker sessions at the Roehampton Club, where you will receive a free copy of the book at the conclusion of your introductory sessions.

Play friendly, competitive, tournament poker

Our Poker Nights offer a chance not only to learn the game, or improve your poker, but also just to play and enjoy the excitement of a poker tournament. £6 of each £15 fee for the evening goes into the prize pot and the winner (and often 2nd, 3rd and 4th also) receive a share of the spoils. You can re-buy if you lose all your chips in the first hour, for a further £6, but after that, you cannot stake any further money.
The tournaments are scheduled to finish at approximately 10.15pm, but may run on to 10.30pm. We have Las Vegas music, friendly fair rulings, cocktail waitresses and delicious Vegas-Style food on offer, to be enjoyed at the table or by the bar.

All at 7.30pm - food available - £15 fee
